The fine men and women of the Transportation Security Administration should be protecting air travelers, but they are too busy committing all sorts illegal acts. The latest exposure of criminal activity at the TSA centers around a drug smuggling.
A drug trafficker was routinely transporting large amounts of black-market oxycodone and cash back and forth between Florida and the northeastern United States. To make sure things went smoothly, the trafficker bribed TSA officers Christopher Allen of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; John Best of Port St. Lucie, FL; and Brigitte Jones of The Bronx, NY to let him through security with drugs and large amounts of cash. The trafficker also had, Florida State Trooper, Justin Kolves and NYPD officer, Michael Brady, on the payroll. So far, at least twenty people have been arrested for involvement with the drug ring as part of the Drug Enforcement Administration's “Operation Blue Coast.”
If TSA agents will take bribes to let drugs through security, what else will they let through if properly bribed? For those who argue TSA agents might accept bribes to let drugs through but they would never take bribes to allow explosives through, consider this. What if a terrorist posed as a drug trafficker, gave bribes to TSA workers to let a suitcase full of drugs on a plane, and it turned out he had hidden a bomb in that suitcase?

Florida Made $63 Million Selling Personal Information
If you have a Florida driver license, you might want to know that the state is selling your information to private companies for a profit. The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles made $63 million last year selling names, addresses, birth dates, and vehicle ownership information to companies like Lexus Nexus and Shadow Soft.
Who knows what other information about you the state is selling and where it is going? The potential for abuse and identity theft is massive. One thing is for certain. This is a huge assault on privacy, and it is happening so the state of Florida can make some easy cash. By the way, Floridians, if you are wondering exactly what your information is worth, the state sells it for one cent per file.

ATF Operation Castaway Could Be Florida's Fast and Furious Scandal
When Barack Obama promised Sarah Brady he was pursuing gun control "under the radar," maybe he really meant it. The new controversy surrounds the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives' Operation Castaway.
Operation Castaway is the program that led to the arrest of, gun dealer, Hugh Crumpler III. He has been charged for his part in a weapons smuggling operation from Florida to Central America. Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R) is asking, Attorney General, Eric Holder and, ATF Acting Director, Kenneth Melson questions about the full nature of the ATF's Operation Castaway, specifically about the involvement of the ATF's Tampa Field Division.
The ATF is already denying any wrongdoing in the program. The ATF is claiming Operation Castaway was nothing like the botched Fast and Furious program that had ATF personnel allowing and encouraging weapons to flow from gun stores in the United States and into the hands of Mexican gangs. The problem is how do we trust the ATF? We already caught them allowing the smuggling of weapons to Mexico. How can we now be expected to believe the ATF would not also allow weapons to be smuggled into Central America?
How many more programs like this have been going on? Has our federal government had a secret policy of allowing weapons to illegally fall into the hands of dangerous criminals? If so, what is the motivation? The only obvious answer is that ATF is attempting to build a case for more gun laws in the United States, especially with regard to the sale of assault weapons.

TSA Makes Life Harder for Handicapped
| TSA Handicapped Groping Zone Sign |
On July 6, 2011, Jason Steitler and, his wife, Jennifer were going through TSA screening at the Greater Rochester International Airport in New York. Both Jason and Jennifer Steitler are in wheelchairs. The sharks at the TSA must have sensed weakness, so they pounced on the Steitlers and subjected them to a humiliating and intrusive search.
In what Jennifer Steitler calls "search rape," the TSA had their hands all over the handicapped couple's bodies and even managed to get their hands uncomfortably close to Jennifer Steitler's crotch. They had Jason Steitler push against his wheelchair's arm rests with his arms, so they could get up under his backside. The couple felt embarrassed and violated. Oh, and by the way, neither Jason Steitler nor Jennifer Steitler turned out to be terrorists planning to blow up or forcibly take over a commercial jetliner.

TSA Misleading Public About Adult Diaper Incident
Feeling the heat from the public backlash against the embarrassingly invasive search on June 18, 2011 of a 95-year-old leukemia patient who has to wear a diaper and can barely get around without a wheelchair, the Transportation Security Administration is now attempting to spin the story by saying they never ordered the leukemia patient to remove her diaper.
The official statement from the TSA is, "We have reviewed the circumstances involving this screening and determined that our officers acted professionally, according to proper procedure and did not require this passenger to remove an adult diaper."
While that statement may be technically accurate, it is deliberately misleading. The TSA may have not actually demanded the woman remove the diaper, but Jean Weber, the daughter of the woman, said the TSA agents made it clear the woman was not getting on the plane unless they were able to inspect the diaper (or perhaps have it discarded). Jean Weber decided to remove the diaper.
This is all semantics. The old woman was trying to get on a flight. The TSA would not let her get on the flight until someone removed the diaper. There is not much of a difference here. The TSA can say, "Take off that diaper or else you are not getting on your flight."
Alternatively, the TSA can say, "You are not getting on your flight with that diaper."
There is a difference in those two positions, but the effect is essentially the same. This poor old woman was going to have to take off her diaper or miss her flight.
This is how the TSA operates. The TSA knows they have a tremendous advantage over you at the airport, because they have the power to make you miss the flight for which you paid hundreds of dollars and cause an extraordinary amount of inconvenience as you attempt to arrive in time to make connecting flights, check into hotels, pick up rental cars, etc. The TSA knows they have the ability to dramatically inconvenience you and effectively take away your right to travel freely about the country by air, and they will hold it over your head to get you to comply with all of their disgusting invasions of your privacy.
The TSA can say, "Let us squeeze your testicles and let us rub our hands around your anus, or we will not let you on your flight."
Alternatively, the TSA can say, "You cannot get on that flight unless you voluntarily let us squeeze your testicles and rub our hands around your anus."
The nuances of the differing statements do not really matter much. Essentially, the TSA wants to molest you, and they are going to use the ability to restrict your right to travel to make that happen.
The most ridiculous aspect of this whole adult diaper situation is how we are now engaged in a big public discussion over whether the old woman's diaper was removed by order or voluntarily as a condition of boarding a flight. The real problem here is the federal government is now in our pants. One of the last free places we had in this country was our pants, and now the government feels the need to look around in there too. When the federal government is looking around in the pants and up the dresses of innocent citizens, things have gone terribly wrong.
By the way, if you are taking solace in thinking, if the government is in your pants, at least there is nowhere else for them to invade, do not be so sure. Terrorist, Abdullah Hassan al-Asiri, has already successfully detonated a bomb concealed in his rectum. Do not be so sure the federal government will not want to peek in there someday too. Sure, it sounds like a crazy thought now, but ten years ago, did you ever imagine the federal government would be touching your genitals and taking naked images of you at the airport? You never thought that would happen, but it has been going on the entire time you have been reading this article. We should be absolutely ashamed of ourselves for letting the terrorists win like this. We have played right into their hands by choosing to live in a constant state of fear where privacy, dignity, and freedom mean nothing.

TSA Makes 95-Year-Old Leukemia Patient Remove Soiled Diaper for Search
Jean Weber of Destin, Florida is angry with the TSA. Her 95-year-old, 105-pound mother, who is battling with leukemia can barely walk. When the elderly leukemia patient went through a TSA checkpoint at the Northwest Florida Regional Airport on June 18, 2011 in a wheelchair, she was selected for an extensive search.
During the search, the TSA told Jean Weber to change her mother's diaper because it was soiled and impeding their search. Jean Weber did remove her mother's diaper, but did not have a fresh one to replace it. Presumably the elderly leukemia patient had to go without out a diaper until someone was able to locate a new one for her.
In all, the elderly, diaper-wearing leukemia patient was detained forty-five minutes. This is disgusting for so many reasons. This poor old woman is battling for her life. She can barely walk and probably has little life left in her. All she wanted to do was get on an airplane, but in order to exercise her right to travel, she had to be treated like a criminal, detained for an excessive amount of time, and humiliated by federal agents in front of her family.
This is the TSA. This is what they do. Do you feel safer?

Government Job Center Gives Superhero Capes to Unemployed
Dr. Evil Unemployment
Workforce Central Florida
Workforce Central Florida
Workforce Central Florida apparently has way too much extra money. Under Director, Gary J. Earl, Workforce Central Florida thought it might me a good idea to spend $73,000 on a campaign to turn the unemployed into "caped crusaders." The agency spent more than $16,000 on 6,000 capes to give away to unemployed people. The agency also spent $2,300 on foam cutouts of a villain: Dr. Evil Unemployment. There is also a chance to win a $1000 prize pack.

It is all part of the "Cape-A-Bility Challenge" program with the assumed goal of motivating unemployed people by dressing them up with superhero capes.

Is this really what unemployed people want? Are they wanting to dress up as superheroes, or do they just want help finding jobs so they do not get thrown out of their homes?
Can you imagine anything more depressing than a bunch of unemployed people standing in a line waiting on an employment check? What if that money had instead been unused to place people in jobs or--better yet--not have been seized from taxpayers in the first place?
Caped Crusaders Against Unemployment
Workforce Central Florida
One must wonder where these capes were manufactured. For the love of all that is decent and fair, let us hope these capes were not made in China. If the capes were absolutely necessary, why did the unemployed people not get a chance to make these capes and earn a little money? Making a cape is not very difficult. Anyone with an hour of training could make one of the simplest garments ever invented.
Woman Beating Dr. Evil Unemployment

If you were wondering why your taxes are so high, this is just one silly example of how government wastes your money. Every government worker involved in this ridiculous program should be unemployed.
By the way, Superman, Spider-Man, and a lot of other superheroes have steady day jobs. Some of them even work for the press. Maybe they should be covering this wasteful insanity.
